Istanbul is a city where every place is filled with beauty. Appealing to people of all ages and backgrounds, Istanbul welcomes millions of visitors every year. Many areas of the city offer affordable travel, transportation and dining options. That's why Istanbul is a popular choice for those looking for affordable travel.

Airbnb in Beyoğlu

Beyoğlu is a district that offers visitors significant opportunities for affordable travel. Beyoğlu is a lively location where you can find reasonably priced Airbnb homes. It is centrally located and easily accessible. It is within walking distance of popular locations such as Harbiye, Nişantaşı, Karaköy, Kabataş and Maçka. This allows visitors to see popular centers while reducing transportation costs when vacationing economically in Istanbul. Those who choose Airbnb in Beyoğlu find both affordable trips and central accommodation options.

How do I get from Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Beyoğlu?

Sabiha Gökçen Airport located in the Pendik district is Istanbul's second international airport. The airport known internationally as SAW hosts many domestic and foreign visitors, especially offering opportunities for budget flights to Istanbul. However, airports can be confusing places for those new to the city. How do I get to the city center? Which mode of transportation is the most affordable? Which routes go from the airport to the city center? Where can I have an affordable vacation in Istanbul? Which stop should I go to and where should I wait to get to the center? There are many questions like these. Sabiha Gökçen Airport provides affordable and fast transportation to the city center via private bus services (HAVABÜS), metro lines (M4), and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality bus lines (IETT). Additionally, you can pay by credit card on all transportation options from the airport, including HAVABÜS, metro and IETT buses.

Transportation with HAVABÜS

The easiest way to get from Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Taksim/Beyoğlu is to use HAVABÜS. Head to the exit gate. After collecting your luggage at the arrivals terminal, follow the ‘Exit’ signs to the main exit gate. Cross the road. As soon as you exit the gate, cross the road to the opposite side. You will see the large white HAVABÜS buses. HAVABÜS vehicles wait at the stops right in front of the open parking lot directly opposite the terminal building. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. To view the weekday and weekend schedules and departure times, please visit the link below:

Note: If your flight is delayed, you can find HAVABÜS buses in the same area mentioned above between 1:00 AM and 4:00 AM.

You do not need to purchase tickets in advance for any HAVABÜS routes. Passengers purchase their tickets after boarding the bus. Payment options on HAVABÜS buses are as follows: Sabiha Gökçen Airport-Taksim/Beyoğlu route costs 367 TL per passenger for cash payments. Credit card payments are also possible, but the fee is 450 TL. For passengers using an Istanbulkart, 367 TL is deducted from their card balance. Foreign passengers also have the option to pay in Euros (cash).

Getting There by Metro

To reach the Sabiha Gökçen Airport - Kadıköy Metro line, also known as the M4 metro line, you don't need to exit the terminal or take any other form of transportation. After collecting your luggage from the arrivals hall, simply follow the yellow and black “Metro” signs. The metro station is located on the lower level of the terminal. This allows you to reach the metro directly without being affected by rain or crowds outside. The M4 metro line, which runs every five minutes, operates from 06:00 to 00:00 on weekdays and 24 hours a day on weekends. You can see all the stops on the metro route by clicking on the link below.
